The tranny is relatively easy to take apart and reassemble. I've chewed up 1st and 2nd gear by trying to pull too much. It's about a 3 hour job but would cost you some bucks at the JD dealer. Gears are kinda expensive. Count on a $100 to replace two gears and shims. Just take it apart slow and make good notes. I need a wiring diagram for the 111. My PTO is acting up.
