Purchased GT245 March 05. After about 7 hrs started to surge after mowing. Called dealer & was told to bring over. This was a Sat. Tuesday they called said tractor ready. They cleaned the jets in carb. Took home mowed nexted weekend started all over again. Took it back again this time they replaced the carb. No problems since. I was told they try to re jet first & if it comes back they replace the carb. This was all done under warranty. They also said there was dirt in gas. Since that time I bought a funnel that has a real fine screen to filter gas putting into tank. You should see some of the dirt I'm getting. I have changed the fuel filter twice. I was told the carb was set to meet emmissions & there isn't any adjustments on it. Hope it runs fine for it's 2nd season of mowing. Love the tractor.
