RE: John Deere 425 Overheating. Just a comment in case any are unaware. The 425 is water cooled. There is a slide out screen just behind the radiater. It is designed to lift out for easy cleaning. Do it often. When I lift it out and clean it, I also backwash thru the radiater with the hose (after it is cooled down of course). The design has it pulling the air from the rear of the engine (towards the rear wheels). Had the same problem years ago. Thanks
