I don't know if this will be helpful but...
I have a 425 and the power lead wire running back to the fuel pump broke off/out of it's multi pin connector. Once I figured out where the wire belonged all was well with the fuel pump.
The wire (on my tractor) goes to a 6 pin connector a few inches away from the starter area. It may be worth checking continuity on your pump power wire.
