Hello All,
I just bought this IH 1466 Turbo, it is not quite as nice as it appears. It's missing the front grill, the tilt steering is missing a piece or 2, the range shifter is VERY sloppy. The tractor seems to run pretty good, the inside of the cab is in need of replacing, the TA works, it has both pto's. However, I have 2 questions, one is what would be a ballpark figure of what this tractor would be worth, now, and also if it were in GREAT shape? Also why does it seem that no one really likes the 1466's? It seems like no one really cares for them, is there certain things about them that people just don't like? I bought this on eBay, and was "scammed" by the seller, I have $7000.00 into the tractor right now, including shipping. I am wondering if I should go ahead and get my money back or would it be worth keeping and fixing up? I would GREATLY appreciate ANY input, advice, etc. that anyone would be willing to give me. I was SO excited about getting this tractor, I am a partially disabled farmer and don't have tons of money to put into it. I can't afford to have something that isn't going to be worth it. It does have the loader with bale spear on it. PLEASE help! I could REALLY use some assistance. God bless all! Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
