Adjust turnbuckle on ta operating cable (under center hood on firewall) so TA spool is down against snapring with lever in forward position direct drive. You may need to do some work on the lever mechanism to make it operate freely. Also check to see that spool is fully extended with lever back in ta position. Then make sure clutch has about l l/8 in free travel measured at the arrow on pedal to firewall. Adjust clutch brake with engine running, clutch depressed so you can just insert the pin into clevis, then lengthen rod one turn for starters. You may need to give it another half turn or if you can get by with less it will shift better out of gear. Next, dump valve, make sure red transmission oil light works, adjust so red light is on with cluth depressed and light goes out as you are releasing pedal just before tractor starts to move. This will insure full release of ta clutches for shifting and also filling of direct drive clutch before main clutch takes ahold. All linkages must of course be in good conditon to get good adjustments as well as cab mounts. Adjust the clutch free travel on the rod that has screw driver slot by loosening clamp nut first. Do not adjust on the other linkages unless they have been messed with or worn.
