The 1066 doesn't have a parking BRAKE. It has a park lock. It is a spring loaded pawl that grabs an idler gear in the transmission. When you pull up on the lever, the linkage pulls the pawl away from the gear.
A technician who knows the model would have no trouble disabling it so that it can be moved. Depending on what the problem is, it may require pulling the cover off the range transmission.
