Muffler eliminators as I know are straight pipes. The pullers would tell you to get a straight pipe , (stainless or chrome or anything else) longer than what you need and mark it with a crayon up the side of the pipe and after hard work mark the point where it did not melt, then cut it off there. That would be optimum.
