My C Wouldn't start, found carb (carter)gasket ruined, made new one and cleaned carb. Replaced all ignition parts. Now tractor starts and idles nice but misses badly when under load - even just moving itself in 2nd. if blip throttle open from idle tractor chokes and sometimes dies. Good compression, 20" vacumn, spark at all plugs. put old condenser and coil back, no difference. if pull the manifold plug above carb hold finger over hole and allow little air in RPM rises smoothly as allow more air then as too much air, chokes and dies. removed oil bath, no difference. I think problem has to be in carb - Thanks for any thoughts.
