Vic: Cater carb's are almost obsolete. There were about 5-6 different Carter Carbs used on Farmall A, B, C, SA, etc. and now the aftermarket is trying to service all with two different kits. On my SA, I had to used parts out of both kits.
Personally I'd look for a Zenith Carb. Not perfect either, but a bit better. There is a kit for each carb, however ID is a problem. Zenith used some ID tags that went under head of a bolt. Over the years tags have been misplaced.
