Earlier this year, I replaced the hydraulic fluid on a 300U (built-in pump, not the front end loader) using generic transmisson/hydraulic oil from the hardware store. In this forum, McKay mentions using Hytran fluid. Is that just Case's own brand? Would it make a difference? I guess I'm wondering because the lines running from the pump to the reservoir get real hot.
