I have a manual that tells you how to bleed the system, it says:

"To bleed the system, fill reservoir to the bottom of filler hole then start engine and cycle system until any air is bled from system. Recheck reservoir fluid level and add fluid as required"

Now I am NEW to this so this may be a stupid questions. I had to change a hose for the back hoe and now it works very slow and is very week.

It says to fill to the bottom of filler hole, Where is the "bottom of filler hole"?
Do I take the filter out to see this?
I filled the Hydraulic tank up and started the engine. I had left the cap off and nothing would work. When I screwed the cap to the Hydraulic tank back on the hoe would work but was slow and weak.
Now I had to unscrew 3 lines that go under the hoe seat to change the new line. So I assume air is in the lines.

The direction really don't make any since to me. Can any help me on bleeding the system?
