When I purchased this tractor the gentleman said it was a 1951 Super A (which it is) with a Super C motor (how do I confirm that?).
I have put in new battery and tightened the generator (or is this an alternator belt). The tractor when used after 10-12 hours will wear out the battery and I have to put it on a charger.
Do I need to replace my belts or is my generator toast and not charging the battery?
I am not a mechanic and have had to become one by necessity as this is currently the workhorse for our small farm.
I will be posting more items as I go and will be thankful for any and all assistance. Thanks!
