I am in Aus about 800ft below the main snowline but do get the odd snowfall and frequently get summer temps of 98. The weather doesnt seem to make much difference.
I have operated the glow plugs for a good 60 seconds and then while cranking in summer on the first start use for an hour and shut down, leave it sit stopped for 3 hours and it will restart on second or third turn of the crankshaft.
Repeat procedure next day.
