Aaron: I can't tell you about the power steering. Your trailer has plenty of deck, tractor and mower will weigh between 3,000 and 4,000# depending on wheel weights or chloride.

It's always nice to have more trailer deck than you use. Balance of the load can make the haul pleasant or very unpleasant. Always nice to be able to move the load forward or backwards on the deck.
