Arron: 240 started at serial number 501, thus 1099 is only the 598th built, it has to be a 58 model. Might be 59, but I doubt it. J stnds for Rockford clutch.
in the beginning they were 2 point fast hitch only, 3 point was introduced near the end of production. Yours is not factory 3 point hitch. Someone did a very good conversion.
