The hydraulics on my 460 Farmall just started going over relief; sounds like the same thing. Loader tractor, no problems 'til recently. The D/S valves are positioned OK. No noise when operating loader, but definitely going over relief in neutral. May start out OK, then start relieving after use. My local shop said the regulator valve screen (I assume the orifice plug you noted) could be plugged. But the mechanic took off on a call, leaving the parts manager on the phone to try and tell me where it is... (Ha!) Where do I look for the orifice? My 1st guess would be the square block directly under the valve bank under the console where the pressure hose connects.
