I am rebuilding the axle extensions on a swept back front axle 574. The casting which holds the steering knuckle has been broken off and rewelded several times on both sides due to heavy loader use on the farm. I have machined and bushed a piece of 1/2" wall thickness steel tubing to replace each casting. My question is; What is the correct angle to have between the extension bar and the new tube? I do not have access to a print or unbroken original to check. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
