I have the B275 tractor also, it has two(2) 6 volt batterys one battery is attached to the positive (+) of the tractor, the 2nd battery's positive (+) is attached to the first battery's negative(-), then the 2nd battery neg.(-)is attached to the neg.(-) of the tractor.
This gives the tractor 12 volt power with double the amps of the 6 volt batterys.
I have added a picture of tractor, if you need battery pics I can show you if needed.
