thanks for the help guys. the shifter already had a bolt put in, it is sloppy. I had tried pulling the shifter off and moving the rails but they didn't move, although I didn't try real hard, I didn't want to break anything. I will try the pulling the shifter again and get ugly with the thing. I will let everyone know my outcome. if anyone else has more comments I'd love them, this tractor stuff is waaaaaaaaaay new to me. thanks again for the help!
