I have what I believe is a '40's era, farmall m.
it has been retrofitted with hydraulic steering and a front bucket.
while driving back and forth moving dirt the tractor got stuck in firts gear (I had a couple hard shifts reverst to first.....in a hurry.....dumb blonde guy!) so I drove the tractor for a few more minutes in first. I parked it for a couple days, when I went to drive it again it won't move. with the clucth in the tractor starts fine. when I try to let the clutch out it kills the motor like the brakes were locked up. the brakes are not locked up as it has none. when I jack the rear axle up the tires spin fine. but even with the rear tires off the ground the tires won't spin and the motor dies like the brakes were on. I need to get it fixed or else my old lady is going to kick my ass !! lol !!
thanks for you help.
