First, it sounds like someone put the wrong oil in the tranny.You should use Hytran, or its equivilant. The FULL plug is located on the side of the transmisson, and very hard to get to on the Loboys, the FILL plug is on the back of the tranny, the DRAIN plug is on the bottom. The pump uses the fluid in the transmission. If it were me, Id drain the tranny, preferably over night, then refill with fresh Hytran, (BTW, JD also has its equivialnt, and I have had great success with a product called Tractor Fluid, but read the back of the bottle to see if it meets Hytran specs), new filter, and fill it with 4 pints. Too much and foaming occurs, which will cause your problem.
