Clutch problem with '56 model 140, 4 speed trans.

My friend has been working on tractors for many years but this one has him stumped. Rebuilt all clutch assembly. Appears to be ok until first time he drives off. Engages ok but will not disengage until engine is shut down. It only sticks under this condition. Makes some noise when engaging. HELP STOP MY FRIENDS RUNAWAY TRACTOR.
