Hi, noticted no one repled to your question unless they e-mailed you. If the inside bearing is good I would cut the outer one off with a cut off wheel being careful not to cut into shaft, cut a deep groove or maybe two of them and then use a chisel to break bearing. I have seen guys pound off the inside bearing which is ok but you have to drive the bull pinion back into the bearing again and that is not good for the bearing. To remove the shaft with bearing one must remove axle housing. As the inside axle bearing is on the end of shaft bull gear will drop down a little so it just doesn't work well to leave the wheels on and pull axle assembly all together. Always do that on the Deere tractors but bearing is in the axle housing on them. I sneak a cherry picker under cab if it has one and get housing out that way. Depends on what kind of cab you have if you do. Easy with out one.
