A 300 Utility apparently needs a counterweight as well as fluid-filled tires. Without a weight it looses traction when lifting. The welder is making a 50-gallon barrel into a quick-hitch weight.
How heavy should the barrel be? Filled with cement? I know, you'll wonder how much am I lifting? Hard to say. Just general use around the farm, but includes digging dirt and lifting rock.
Maybe I'm wondering if the constant load will strain the hydraulic pump.
Thanks.
