david: Not quite sure why you posted this on a Farmall page? Could it be your confusing Farmall 460 with a Long 460? They are a completely different make of tractor. Long was a low production manufacturer, not quite sure what they used for an engine, but it definitely was not IH. You'll have to establish what engine you have and take it from there. My first thoughts would be Perkins, possibly Cummins. Look the engine over in detail, it has to say on there somewhere what brand the engine is.
