sorry for the incomplete post! The info given to you concerning where and how to check the oil level is correct, but I have found that 30W non-detergent oil is the best. Can also use this oil in the "belly" pan of a 3 point hitch hydraulic pump on an H. My H is a '49 model, which I purchased along with a '39 model, both tractors for $700!
