thanks for the info. On the basis that I hadn't got much to lose i unlatched the brake pedals and gave the brakes some serious grief. The left one gave in after much squealing and now works perfectly. The right hand one refuses to do any thing though. I bled them which seemed fine and the right pedal has plenty of feel to it, just no braking effect?? Any other ideas before I get the spanners out?
