Well, perhaps a parts guy might be able to look up one of those numbers.
Absent that, can you tell us anything else about the tractor? Is it a utility style, big row crop, or really big 4WD?
If you are sure it is a 1970 (how do you know?), it could be a 56 series, an 826 or 1026, or a 544.
If it's on the small side it could be a Cub or a 140
You might want to search through Google images to see if you can find a match.
