Yes you are correct, after some digging around I found out that it was a 4-53 detroit engine. and wasn't a International but a Cockshutt/White. And talking some more with dad he told me that detroit was 1950 engine and fitted it in a 1855 Cockshutt/White. No wonder I coundn't find it online...:)
