I remember my gramps C, he always said the strap connected to the bottom of the box via a bolt that went ot the frame.It wasnt a cable, I do remember that, and that green crud built up on the strap. I guess thisis why there is only one hole on the box,but I often wondered why the bolt didnt eat a hole in the bottom of the battery. I would have to see it again. It was the only tractor in this county that was bought new in 49.
