Thanks for the answer, the coil is for electronic ignition so it does not need a resistor, My main concern is that the coil and alternator and maybe the solanoid are negative ground but the starter is positive ground so if I hook up the battery negative ground will the starter turn backwards. I ordered the alternator from a tractor dealer and it is made for a low rpm tractor, I haven`t got it yet but I assume it is neg ground. The lights will work either way
