David: Very likey what you have is a white demonstrator. IH had a promotional deal in 1950, and it involved most models. They painted them white at the factory, and the dealer was supposed to repaint them red before they were sold. They were not complately white, castings of the wheels, front and rear were red. There was some other red but I've forgotten just how much. Most folks that find one now, paint them back to the original white, basically to say, "I have a white demonstrator". I can't say as I blame them, these look sharp. Some of them never got repainted red.
This program didn't involve a whole years production. Basically it was designed to give each dealer across North America 2, 3 or 4 white demonstrators of his most popular sellers. Most of the white demonstrators I've seen are C. There are Super A and M. H seemed to be the least common. That may be the area I live in
