David: I'm a firm believer in trying the least cost solutions first. Try dumping about 1/2 cup of methyl hydrate in the fuel tank, close to full of fuel. My 130 was acting a bit like this two weeks back, methyl hydrate cured it. I believe I may have been getting icing in the carburator. Yesterday at roughly 15F, I could see water in the sediment bowl, dumped it and the water in the bottom was not frozen. I'm getting water, probably from condensation in jerry cans I'm using.
You also mention temp not rising, are the shutters working, try closing them. If not throw a plastic sheet over the grill, see what happens, watch the gauge closely.
Happening this suddenly, I tend to think ice in the fuel system somewhere.
