Dano: You didn't say, however is the tractor 6 volt or 12 volt? If 6 volt, what often happens with these is folks buy replacement battery cables from auto parts stores. 6 volt systems draw twice the amperage of 12 volt, thus need 00 or 01 gauge battery cables. I find the best place to buy these are are big truck shops. It's also best to use solder on ends.
