Ok,
here is my 2 cents worth, I own a 1979 ford 535 ind tractor with a loader and backhoe. There were several model backhoes available to the origanal buyers of these tractors each with there own model #, somewhere I have literature on the various BH models offered, My tractor is equipped with a 19-551 backhoe and a 19-501 loader. This is why when you go to the dealer they tell you there was no such thing as a "535" backhoe, there were in fact severl different model backhoes that attached to the "535 Ind Tractor", various digging depths and ruggedness ect. Your dealer should have known this unless your parts people havnt been around very long.
I agree with a previos post about the spool valve may be in need of some attention, also on mine I have a two position push pull valve along with lift and curl on the loader, one position allows normal curl operation while the other position offers a self leveling action of the bucket to prevent spill back onto hood when raising to load a truck ect. If you have one of these valves it too may cause a problem if not fully engaged in either position. Hope this helps
