I recently finished puting togather a ford 3000 disel, it has the simms fuel injector pump on it, the pump is a re built. When I start the tractor it is a bit hard to start, smokes white smoke out the exhaust, and runs rough then after a time ( about 10 min) it smooths out and seems to run ok. could this be an air leak in the fuel system? perhaps a missing o ring? I do not want to mess with the injectors or the pump since all that was just rebuilt.
