I've had that happen several times over the years. I have changed the coil, and every time it has stopped doing it. Vapor lock has been a problem also. I think that the motor heats up some after shutdown if not allowed to cool off some before shutdown. I think that may cause vapor lock, and it has to cool down enough to allow the fuel to liquify again. Just my guess.
