Hi,
Sounds as if you have a bad connection, bad ground. or a bad cable.
Clean both battery posts and cable connectors,
If you have a REPAIR END on the cables take them apart where they are attached to the cable also.
Check the tightness of the bolts at the chassis ground and also at the solenoid cable nut.
