Ford 555C Shuttle Shift Transmission Problems

My 555c won't move forward or reverse. When I lift the machine up I can get the wheels moving forward in first gear at high throttle, but not reverse. I was wondering if it could be something to do with the electrics. The electric over hydraulic switchs maybe. anyone have any ideas, Thanks Don
