Sounds as if the hydraulics might be a little weak. And the labor bill to replace reverse gear will most likely be a little tasty. Not counting what else might have to be replaced like the gear that drives the reverse gear, for if one gear is chipped there is a good chance that the other might also be damaged. Good luck.
