Hello ,

Just did a rebuild ... Two questions .

1) The heat shield between the gas tank and motor , Is there two parts or just one . I have the one above the exhaust but it seems to me that there was another one on the other side as well . I'm thinking maybe it got misplaced ...

2) The machine shop had to make and silicone glue a shim in the block where the crank seal goes in order to make it seal properly . This is where the engine bolts to the flywheel . We figure that some of these blocks may have been off specs somewhat . Anybody else run into this problem ?

Any help is appreciated .

John
