It should be on the bell housing, just rear of the starter. There should be 3 numbers, a model number, a production code number and a serial number. The serial number should be the longest, and should start with a C if it was made in the US, or a B if it was made in the UK. Post all 3 numbers and someone here should be able to help decipher them.
