I have a '67 Ford 2000 3 cyl. The fuel gauge, temp gauge, & oil light don't work. I found an in-line fuse behind the instrument panel that had a 3 amp blown fuse in it. I replaced it and the oil light came on but the fuse blew before I could check anything else. I disconnected the wire from the voltage stabilizer but it still blows a 3 amp fuse as soon as I turn on the ignition switch. Is 3 amp the correct size? I'm not sure since the previous owner had a 3 amp in the headlights also. I have a shop manual reprint but half of the schematic lines aren't printed. There appears to be a short on one side of the in-line fuse. With the voltage stabilizer disconnected, where else do I need to look?
Thanks,
Harold Wilson
