pete. go to tractordata.com and punch in ford 3600, it will give you a good overview of the 3600 the last tab has prices for 2008 on tractors sold by dealers. 4500 sounds like a good deal. I dont know much about deisels, the oil on the cylinders is not a huge deal, might want to keep an eye on it down the road. I bought my ford 5 years ago knowing nothing about it. I have not regreted it. I have had minor problems but nothing to costly. A good tractor with a loader, to me, is priceless. Good luck.
