Taking the belly mower off is easier than putting it on! Start by releasing the pto. There should betwo guide bars that have been secured to the frame with carter pins. Release these and safely move the bars down to the mower. Release the metal pin/bar from the front of the tractor along with the guide cables.I use a cherry picker to raise the front end of the tractor off the ground and, with help, slide the mower from one side of the tractor. I bought a husqvarna to cut grass with. I use the tractor for tilling/plowing/scraping. This was just too much trouble.
