That serial number should be from 1975. Is there a Production code number on that same tag under the hood? That would tell us for sure. If the production code isn't on the hood tag, look on the transmission bell housing near the starter. The model#, production code and serial number should all be there as well, stamped into the bell housing itself. The true model number won't say 3000 though, it will be a code that identifies the series, chassis type, engine type, pto type and transmission type.
