The hot problems are generally the condenser. Sometimes the coil even new as stated above and the parts stores know it so once installed you can't take them back. The running rough after warm up is probably due to not setting fuel mixture andd timing as ford recommends. Most fords that run perfect cold are not set right. It should be just a little rich cold. Depends how you want to use it I guess. if its for show leave it but if you're going to use it lean and hot are a bad combination.
