In Reply to: 3400 loader won't work after hose change. Please help! posted by David on Friday, April 17, 2009:
2 things is could be in this case. Since the failure of an hydraulic hose occured. The flow rate could of sent a parts of the hoses tubing into the system. Hopefully it is in the filter blocking flow. Or it can be in the cylinder blocking flow. Our the repair shop had some contaimnation in the hose which went into your system. We had a hose made by a parker store which had a plastic cap inside and caused a $14, 500 pump failure. We now only use the hydraulic store in Gap, PA for all our hydraulic parts. They clean the inside of their hoses after they make them for us so no contaimnation is put in our systems. If their was so contaimnation it could go anywhere. Start with the replacement line and follow the flow to find the contaimnation which the parker hose installed in your system.
