the thing that comes to mind would be a defective coil, but said that was replaced. try this: start and run the tractor. after about 5 minutes, try to touch the coil after the engine is off. if the coil is literlly "too hot to touch", then replace it. just because electrical parts are new nowdays, does not mean they are any better than the old ones. all electrical is foreign made and sometimes they are not worth a darn. could also be a defective condensor in the distributor.
